Joy cannot be bought, borrowed or stolen. It actually has to be manufactured, from with yourself. Sometimes it happens by surprise, of its own volition, but sometimes it has to be constructed. When life is not showering you with sources of joy, that does not have to deprive you of it. The only thing that deprives you of joy is you. There is always joy inside. Sometimes we have to dig for it, and build it up into measurable quantities, grain by grain like mining for gold. During the Gold Rush, minors gave up everything in their lives in search for a precious metal. Yet, there are so many things in our lives far more precious than gold. So many sources of joy to be remembered, cherished, and be grateful for.
