Focus on your strengths

When the skills we wish for most are the ones we have a hard time building, it is easy to get down on ourselves and lose sight of all the other things that we are in fact good at. For those who care most for us, those things we are bad at should be the most transparent, as they love and enjoy our strengths. From inside though, the weaknesses just look like insurmountable barriers, and we confirm that knowledge with every bit of evidence. Some bits of skill and knowledge do in fact come harder than others – to each of us. The challenge is to credit ourselves with, enjoy, and build upon our strengths, as we continue to work toward resolving those perceived barriers.
